Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT will continue to be your passport to over 600 B-Schools across India.
Eligibility

Graduates in any discipline. Final year students of Graduate Courses can also apply.

There is no age limit prescribed.
Exam Pattern
The exam is conducted via online and offline mode as well. The candidates can choose any mode for the exam.

There will be a total of 200 questions in the exam. These questions will be divided into 5 sections.(Reading Comprehension;Quantitative Aptitude;Data Analysis;Critical Reasoning; and Indian and Global Environment or General Awareness.)

Each section will be containing of 40 questions each.

Each question will be of 1 mark.

The negative marking scheme is not clear yet. Though it is expected to be around 0.25.

The total time allotted for competing the exam will be 150 minutes.

The candidates belonging to any category are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 1200/- can be paid through following methods;

Online Mode: The amount of fee can be paid online via payment gateway like:
i.Credit card
ii.Debit Card
iii.Internet banking
iv.Mobile wallet -
Offline Mode: The payment of the application fee can be made via demand draft (DD). This DD must be drawn in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi. The candidates must write their name, mobile number and registration number on the back side of demand draft.

All provisionally registered candidates both for Paper Based and Computer Based Test can download their Admit Card from AIMA website link: https://apps.aima.in/matadmitcard.aspx on or after 30 January 2016 (Saturday).

Specific Admit Card is generated both for the candidates opted for the Paper Based Test and for the Computer Based Test. Admit Card contains Candidate’s Name, Form No, Roll No, Test Date, Test Time and Test Venue Address. Candidate has to strictly follow the date and time allotted to him/her in the case of Computer Based Test.
