The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive test that assesses a person's analytical writing, quantitative, verbal and reading skills for being admitted into a graduate management program, such as an MBA. It is a registered trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). Over 5,900 programs offered by more than 2,100 universities and institutions use the GMAT exam as part of the selection criteria for their programs. Business schools use the test as a criterion for admission into a wide range of graduate management programs, including MBA, Master of Accountancy, and Master of Finance programs.

 

Eligibility

• The eligibility criteria for the GMAT exam have not been officially stated by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), but the candidates must possess the following qualification to take admission in the MBA programme of foreign university.

• Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized board or university

• Candidate must be proficient in English Language.

• The candidate must be minimum 18 years of age.

• There is no upper age limit to take the GMAT exam.

The GMAT exam is a computer adaptive test, for the time duration of 3.5 hours, if the candidate will answer the first question correctly, than the difficulty level of the 2nd question will increase and if the first question answered by the candidate is incorrect than the 2nd question will be of less difficulty.

Form Fees;

• The candidates appearing for the exam have to pay the exam fee which is USD 250. The candidate can pay the fees either through either through debit/credit card for online forms and through cashier’s check/personal check or money order in case of mailed forms.
