Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) conducts KIITEE Medical 2016 for the admissions in undergraduate programmes in MBBS and BDS. KIITEE Medical 2016 is a national level entrance exam for Medical and Dental programmes

 

 Eligibility

• Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.2016 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31.12.2016. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates.

• 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates.

 

 Exam Pattern

•  KIITEE 2016  exam will be Online.

•  The examination shall be conducted in ENGLISH language only.

• KIITEE Medical exam will have multiple choice objective type questions

• Total number of questions will be around 180

• Time duration for the test will be 180 minutes.

•  The pattern of KIITEE Entrance Examination is Physics: 45Q, Chemistry: 45Q, Biology: 45Q. Each answer with correct response shall be awarded 4 mark. 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

• Cut-off qualifying marks in the KIITEE Medical 2016 will be declared at the time to result and will declared by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) for as many as 200 seats for Medical and Dental programmes.

Important Points regarding KIITEE Medical 2016 Application process –

• Candidates must ensure that the KIITEE Medical 2016 Application form is not damaged

• Application form should be complete and filled in all respects

• The Completed KIITEE Medical 2016 Application form must have the Candidate's & Parent's / Guardian's signature

• Please paste (do not staple) your recent passport size (4cmX5cm) photograph, which is taken after December 1, 2015

• Kindly do not fold or crease the application in any other manner and avoid over writing/Scribbling on your printed Application form

• Incomplete/incorrect/illegible application is liable for rejection without prior information and KIITEE Medical 2016 Application received after the last date is liable to be rejected without prior information.

• Please do not send any Original documents along with the application form

• The last date to fill Application Form of KIITEE Medical 2016 is March 25, 2016, by 5:00 PM

 

Procedure for sending the Filled Online KIITEE Medical 2016 Application Form:

• Kindly fill all the fields of the Online Application form and submit the form, take the print out (which appears on the screen after submitting the filled application)

• The Completed Application form must have the signature of the candidate and candidate’s Parent’s /Guardian’s signature.

• Please paste (do not staple) your recent Passport size(4cm X 5cm) photograph which is taken after 1st December, 2015

• With the Application form following are the enclosures to be attached

• Two Passport size photographs pasted on the Application form (all the photos provided should be identical and clear)

• Xerox copies of Class-X Marks sheet /Board Certificate

• Please mention ‘KIITEE-2016 APPLICATION FORM and Application number’ in the top of the Envelope

• Application form with all the enclosures listed should to send through Registered/Speed Post /Courier so as to reach on or before March 31, 2016, by 5:00 PM to the below mentioned address

Reservation of seats

• For Scheduled Caste (SC) candidates 15%

• For Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates 7.5%

• Physically Challenged (PC) candidates 3%

Apart from these, 60% seats of each category will be reserved for women candidates. Unfulfilled seats will be converted to General Category.
