Pearson VUE conducts LSAT India 2016 on behalf of Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to the undergraduate law programmes including BA LLB, B.Sc LLB and B.Com LLB.The law school admission test is an important national level law entrance exam conducted for admissions in as many as 68 law schools in India.

 

 Eligibility

  • Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2016 can also apply. ).

 

 Exam Pattern

  •  LSAT 2016 exam will be pen and paper based..

  • The  question booklet will be provided to candidates will be in English.

  •  KSAT 2016 exam will have multiple choice objective type questions

  • LSAT-India 2016 will have a maximum of 100 and a minimum of 92 questions.

  • Time duration for the test will be 140 minutes.

  •  A round 92-100 questions will cover three subjects – Analytical Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension.

  •  No marks will be deducted for any question marked wrong. Moreover, you will be marked on the basis of the total questions marked correctly..

 

Syllabus

  • Analytical Reasoning Questions â€” The questions from this section test the ability to understand a structure of relationships and draw logical conclusions about a structure. You'll be asked to reason deductively from a set of statements and rules or principles that describe relationships among persons, things, or events.

  • Logical Reasoning Questions â€” These questions assess the ability to analyze, critically evaluate and complete arguments. Each Logical Reasoning question requires attentive reading, comprehend a short passage and then answer a question about it. The questions are designed to test a wide range of skills involved in thinking logically, with an emphasis on skills that are central to legal reasoning. 

  • Reading Comprehension Questions â€” These questions are designed to test the ability to read, with insightful understanding. The Reading Comprehension section contains four sets of reading questions, each consisting of a selection of reading material, followed by four to nine questions that test reading and reasoning abilities.

    2.Registration And Procedure For Making Online Application

  • The first step of LSAT-India 2016 Application Procedure involves registration for the law school admission test

  • You need to first register yourself and created a LSAT-India 2016 account by providing your e-mail id and setting a password for the registered LSAT-India 2016 account

  • Once you have created LSAT-India 2016 registration account, you will need to apply for the admission test by logging into the account and filling in the form

  • While filling in LSAT-India 2016 Application Form, you will have to provide details including your name, parents’ name, date of birth, nationality and contact details apart from the educational qualifications

  • Moreover, you also have to choose a number of colleges where you wish to apply for through LSAT-India 2016 Application Form; it is advised to choose ‘All Colleges’ check box provides (as it increases the chances of being selected)

  • In the last page of LSAT-India 2016 Application Form, you will need to read the ‘Terms and Conditions’ and click on ‘Yes, I declare that I have…’ check-box provided and afterwards click on ‘Submit Application’ button

  • Once you have filled in the application and submitted your LSAT-India 2016 Application, you will get a message acknowledging that you have successfully submitted your application

  • Next you will require remitting a fee of Rs. 3800 against LSAT-India 2016 Application in any of the modes online or offline

Application Fees â€“ Below is the procedure of remittance of LSAT-India 2016 Application Fees

 

Online Mode â€“ The application fees can be submitted in the online mode using any of the online payment options including Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking

 

Offline Mode â€“ If you choose to remit the fees in offline mode, you can do so using Banker’s Cheque, Demand Draft or Pay Order. The Demand Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque needs to be drawn in favour of Pearson India Education Services Private Limited payable at New Delhi or NOIDA

 

After completing all the formalities of LSAT-India 2016 Application Form, you will be informed about the acceptance status of the same through your registered e-mail id.

 

Now once the application status has been clarified, you will require taking a print-out of the duly filed in LSAT-India 2016 Application Form and send it to the address mentioned below and attach the Demand Draft/Pay Order/Banker’s Cheque along with the application. Moreover, you are advised to write your LSAT-India 2016 Registration Number/Application Number, Name and Mobile Number at the back of the DD.
