Rajasthan University Law Entrance Test popularly known as RULET 2016 is a state level exam. It is conducted to provide admission to aspirants in five-year integrated B.A, L.L.B programmes in different college s in state of Rajasthan.  RULET is conducted by the Rajasthan University for the admission in 120 seats in the first year of B.A. LL.B programmes. 

 

 Eligibility

• Applicant’s upper age limit for RULET 2016 is 21 years as on 1st July, 2016.

• Applicant appearing for RULAT should have passed their Higher Secondary certificate exam/ (10 +2) from a recognized university to apply for the exam.

• Applicants have to score a minimum of 50% of aggregate marks in their HSC exam and 45% in case of SC/ ST category candidateT

• he candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2016 can also apply.

 

 Exam Pattern

• RULET 2016 exam will be pen and paper based..

• The  question booklet will be provided to candidates will be in English.

•  RULET 2016 exam will have multiple choice objective type questions

• RULET 2016 will have 200 questions.

• Time duration for the test will be 120 minutes.

•  The question paper will cover five sections including Legal Reasoning, Language Ability, General Knowledge, Social Studies and General Science

•   No marks will be deducted for any question marked wrong. 1 mark will be awarded fpr each correct answer.

 

Syllabus

There is no set/defined syllabus of entrance examination. The candidates are required to practice questions or prepare thoroughly as per the fragmentation enlisted in the examination pattern. In order to prepare for Language Ability section, candidates can enhance their vocabulary, practice grammar related rules, questions on verbal reasoning, Antonyms, Synonyms, idioms, one word substitution, Sentence Correction, Sentence completion, contextual usage, Sentence correction, Foreign language words used in English, Different usage of same word etc. Practice of comprehensions including Poems is also must. For Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, General Science, and Social Studies sections, candidates need to read newspaper, books related to such issues, competitive books, magazines etc. one should know the Major social, political, cultural, sports, and economical events, Famous award and prizes, Books and authors, International organizations, World Records, etc. Apart from this, candidate really needs to know in-detail about the constitution, main legal laws, etc. course studied in science & social science up to 10+2 should be thoroughly revised. In order to attempt Aptitude of Learning section, some inherent skills are needed. 

 

Application Form

    1. Form Fees  -  Candidates will also need to pay requisite application fee of Rs. 2000 in the form of Demand Draft drawn from any nationalized bank in favour of ‘Convener, RULET, University of Rajasthan’, payable at Jaipur. Candidates need to write their Name at back of the DD.

 

    2.Registration And Procedure For Making Online Application

• Interested and eligible candidates need to download the application form by going through the official link of website.

• After downloading the application form, candidates need to proceed for the details filling in process as prescribed in the form.

• Candidates are advised to fill the RULET 2016 application form in their own handwriting using a black or blue ball pen without any mistake.

• After providing all the necessary details of RULET 2016 offline application form, candidates need to send it in offline at the below mentioned address on or before due date. Applicants have to attach DD of certain amount along with filled in RULET 2016 offline applications.
