Symbiosis Entrance Test for Lawpopularly known as SET Law is a university level exam. It is conducted to provide admission to aspirants in five-year integrated B.A, L.L.B programmes in different colleges. SET Law is conducted by Symbiosis International University for the admission in 720 seats in the first year of B.A. LL.B programmes.
Eligibility

The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates).

Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.

Age Limit: Candidate should be less than 20 years of age at the time of appearing for the SET as on May 2nd 2016 (2 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates i.e. 22 years).
Exam Pattern

SET Law 2016 exam will be pen and paper based..

The question booklet will be provided to candidates will be in English.

SET Law 2016 exam will have multiple choice objective type questions

SET Law 2016 will have 150 questions.

Time duration for the test will be 150 minutes.

The question paper will cover five sections including Legal Reasoning(30Q), Logical Reasoning(30Q),Analytical Reasoning(30Q),Reading Comprehension(30Q),General Knowledge(30Q).

No marks will be deducted for any question marked wrong. 1 mark will be awarded fpr each correct answer.
Syllabus
Although, there is no set syllabus for general and design entrance test, but the candidates can prepare for English section by practicing Reading Comprehensions, synonyms, anonyms, dictionary meanings of different words, and correct grammar and language usage and their rules. For Quantitative section, the candidates should possess the basic knowledge of arithmetic, geometry, statistics, and algebra. For General Knowledge,one can read newspapers, magazines, books to acquire current happenings in business, health and legal fields. For Analytical and Logical Reasoning, the candidates can practice data interpretation, coding & decoding, probably true, probably false, definitely true, definitely false kind of statements to attempt section.

Online Mode – You can remit the fees in online mode using the options – Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking

Offline Mode – In case you wish to avail the offline mode, you can remit the fees by paying it either in cash mode or through Demand Draft.

Cash Payment - This ‘Payment Advice’ form is in three parts. Pay Rs. 1500/- in cash at Axis Bank or Indian Bank branches in your city. Refer to the list of branches on the website. The bank will return two parts of the ‘payment advice’ form to you. The ‘student copy’ is your receipt.
Sign the Symbiosis copy of the ‘Payment Slip’ form stamped by Axis Bank or Indian Bank and send it to:-

DEMAND DRAFT: Get a crossed demand draft for Rs. 1500/- from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune. 2.Registration And Procedure For Making Online Application
A candidate can register for one paper from the morning session; viz, Law or Design and one paper from the afternoon session; viz, General or Engineering or Health Sciences Register at www.set-test.org This will generate your SET ID.
You need to upload your latest scanned photograph (in the given format and size) at the time of online registration. Step

Cut off
The cutoff score of SET Law for last year for Pune for BA LLB was 105 and that in 2014 was 101 for General Category candidates. However, that for BBA LLB in 2015 was 102 and for 2014 was 98 for the General category candidates.
