BCECE 2016 is the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination, also known as Bihar CET 2016. The BCECEB conducts this common entrance examination for medical UG programmes admission in state college.According to officials, BCECE Medical 2015 will be conducted on 19 April and 17 May, 2015 for as many as 782 MBBS seats in 9 Medical colleges and 30 BDS Seats in 1 Dental college of Bihar.

 

 Eligibility

  1. Age -Should complete the age of 17 years by 31.12.2016

   2. Education Qualification -Candidates registering for BCECE-2016 are also required to have passed the 10+2 Qualifying Examination with Physics, Chemistry,  and Biology as core subjects.

Candidates from the General/Unreserved category should have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks while SC/ST category candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination with a minimum aggregate of 40% marks.

Candidates who will be appearing for the qualifying board examination only in the year of admission i.e 2016, but wish to apply for the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE)-2016 are allowed to do so, provided that they are found to meet the qualifying percentage that has been stipulated by the board, after their results have been announced.

 

 Exam Pattern

 The exam will be conducted in two stages-

    Stage 1.   There will be four sections namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Candidates have to attempt Physics and Chemistry compulsorily. Candidates opting for medical should attempt Biology.

    Stage 2. There will be four sections in the BCECE Stage II exam namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. Each paper will be for one and half hours. Candidates have to attempt Physics and Chemistry compulsorily; candidates opting for Medical should attempt Biology.

   Each paper has 100questions and each question carry 4 marks.

   There is negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.

    Time per paper = 90 minutes

                                                                      

 

Application form 

    1. Form Fees  -   Rs.600/- (for general and OBC candidates) atesand Rs.330/-(for sc/ST                                  candidares.

                                Application form  fee to be paid by Online – Net banking/Credit/Debit                                   card.

    2. How to apply -

• Visit the official website of the board.

• Register yourself and keep your ID number and password secure.

• Once you get your registration ID and bank Transaction ID, download the application form through the link provided for the same and start filling the form carefully.

• Download the bank Challan form and submit the exam fee to the prescribed bank.

• Enter the detail of bank fee submission and your personal in the application form and then submit.Scan and upload your passport size photograph and signature in Hindi or English and online submit your application form.

• Download your filled application form and dispatch along with the bank Challan to the board address before the last date.
